New CEO Named
CHARLOTTE, NC (February 27, 2008) Procesa USA, has changed its name to Procesa International, LLC. The company also announced that Patrick Brown, former president of Euronet Payments and Remittance Inc., had been named as its Chief Executive Officer.

“With the expansion of our services to a wider range of customers in the U.S. and Europe, Patrick was a natural fit” said Oscar Zepeda of Procesa-Mexico. “His knowledge of the industry and prior experience in building a money transfer business will be key as we continue to grow.”

Procesa International offers bill payment and top up services in Mexico, Central and South America.

“The remittance marketplace is growing, becoming more sophisticated, and demanding higher-end services,” said Brown. “People are sending money, but would prefer to pay the family utility bill or add minutes to a sibling’s cell phone. It offers them peace of mind that their family is taken care of.”

Procesa International is the sister company of Procesa-Mexico, a non-bank bill payment processor and cell phone top-up company in Mexico.
